Sphex Bar Cabinet

Insects have long been considered important symbols with spiritual relevance throughout ancient history. They are architects and builders, creating some of the most complex geometric sequences in the natural world. The Sphex Bar Cabinet is an ode to the structure and complexity of beehives. 

Much like a beehive, strength and fragility are juxtaposed in the design and material of the cabinet. Steel and burl wood form the basis, with interior shelves and partitions created from delicate crystal glass.
