Lilli Marlit

Lilli Marlit is a multimedia artist and illustrator from Germany, currently based in Lisbon.

Caught up in between compressed lines, shapes, and bodies, her work captures an essence of what is human and forces it all together in a strived border that doesn’t constrict the message. She defines her art as an improvisational play in which every shape defines the other, inviting people to explore and wonder. She flirts with the eternal sorcery that plays at the edges of our minds - especially at dusk, when the outlines blur and imagination takes hold. Unafraid to turn the pen to the right or left, she creates fun, sexy, and dynamic pieces, of which some critically reflect on social and cultural issues.
